Twilight Winery Experience

Join this unique experience and you will be visiting the wineries after they have closed for the day, then sit back and relax in the peace and ambience of this wonderful time of the evening.

 

At our 1st winery, Lancaster Estate you sit amongst the vines enjoying cheese platters and their wide variety of wines and fortifies.  This winery dates back to 1913, first set up as a bulk wine/table grape producer, then in the 1960’s change to produce grapes for wine production.  Their tasting range on offer includes 3 whites, rose, 2 reds, dessert wine and a fortified.

 

Next we move onto Edgecombe Wines and this is what the Swan Valley is all about, a delightful boutique winery in the same family since it was founded in 1925. Their range typifies the climate of the region by producing drink now styles and in their whites they produce one of the only Semillons that come out of this region. They have a tasting range of eight wines and you will be tasting a selection of white, reds, fortifies and sparkling wines.

 

Then onto Heafod Glen Wines which is one of the newest wineries in the valley radiating modern yet rustic charm. Its grand homestead was one of the first built in the area in the 1880’s and the beautifully lite gum trees along the drive set the ambience of this fantastic winery. Their Gold Plate winning restaurant, Chester’s is where you will move onto for dinner is set in the property’s old stable block, now superbly renovated.  They produce a wonderful Chenin Blanc and an Unwooded Chardonnay which is easy drinking and very different to other Chardonnays.  Here you will sample a selection of wine which are available to have with dinner.
